Overnight Dec. 3 thieves took bolt cutters and entered metal tool containers at a construction site on College Drive, stealing four Hilti ram sets, two Dewalt 12-volt cordless drills, two Hilti combination hammer/chippers model t76.

They also stole a portable 5000 Wacker generator that had been secured. The value of the loss was almost $10, 000.

Overnight Dec. 3 thieves entered an apartment in the 1000 block of Clarence Street and stole some pharmaceutical drugs and two Bell Express Vu receivers.

On Dec. 2 at approximately 2 PM, a homeowner who was home saw a youth knocking at her front door.

She then saw another youth in her back yard and yet another one at the side of the house. She confronted them and they ran. All three youths were described as male white, 16 years of age, 5'10 with average builds.

They all had knapsacks. This situation had previously occurred at her residence during the latter part of November.

The North Bay Police Service wishes to caution the general public that this method of operation is still ongoing in our community.
