Mrs. Pigeau’s Grade 8 class at St. Hubert School has created a video about “The Battle of the Windmill” (Parks Canada place) in hopes of winning “Canada’s Coolest School Trip” contest.

They need your help to win this trip of a lifetime!

“Canada’s Coolest School Trip” contest is a part of the My Parks Pass program, administered by Parks Canada, The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Historica Canada, The Canadian Wildlife Federation and Nature Canada.

Grade eight classes across the country create videos telling one of “Canada's Coolest Stories: Where Nature and History Meet.”

Each class selects a Parks Canada place and demonstrates how nature and/or the history of this special place makes it important to Canadians.

The grand prize is an all-expenses-paid, four-day trip for the entire class to Gulf Islands National Park Reserve and Fort Rodd Hill & Fisgard Lighthouse national historic sites this June.

In addition, runner-up and honourable mention prizes will be awarded.

In order to do this, they need your help to get as many votes as possible.

Until March 24, vote for their class’ video daily online at http://contest.myparkspass.ca/en/vote/class/pigeaus/8C .

The ten classes with the most votes will be judged for a chance to win the grand prize and runner-up prizes.
