Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services has announced this morning that some area school buses are cancelled due to risk of freezing rain and very slippery side roads. Cancelled corridors are as follows:
- West Nipissing - including River Valley/Field, Verner/Lavigne, Sturgeon Falls/Jocko Point
- Mattawa
- Trout Lake/Four Mile Lake Rd.
- Redbridge /Thorne
At this time, all schools remain open for students who can get there safely. Parents are reminded that cancelled bus routes will not run in the afternoon; any students brought to school by other means must be picked up at the end of the school day.
