For the first time in her career, Jaimee Bull competed in the Elite Women’s Slalom Division at the Canadian National Waterski Championships which took place at McClintock’s Ski School on Puslinch Lake near Cambridge on the weekend.

Bull was named to the national Elite National Team late last summer.

She finished second to Whitney McClintock in the regular round of competition.

On the final day of the Nationals, the top six athletes for Men and Women compete in the Open Slalom Competition.

Jaimee posted a score of 1.5 buoys at the 10.75 m line length (39.5 off) and again finished 2nd to Whitney, who was able to manage 2 buoys at the same line length.

This was the first time Jaimee was able to complete the 11.25 m line pass at a Canadian Nationals competition.

Whitney is currently ranked 2nd in the world on the Dynamic World Ranking list while Jaimee in now in 4th position. Both ladies along with the rest of the world's top slalom skiers head to Charleston, South Carolina for the Malibu Open next weekend.

As a bonus, Jaimee was also able to meet Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock who was attending the event as a spectator.
