On Saturday Feb 2, 2013, Cheapskates Quality Sporting Goods is pleased to present Ontario’s longest running Snowboard Competition, CHEAPSKATES SNOW WARS XIX at Laurentian Ski Hill.

The competition is in its 19th year and has proven to be one of the best events in the North.

This competition attracts participants from throughout Ontario. Registration can be completed at Cheapskates, 274 Main St East, or at the hill that day starting at 9:30 am. The judging starts at 11:00 am and will run through until approx 3:00 pm….. Categories are 14 and under, 15 and over and Skier.

Winners and participants will have an opportunity to win great prizes valued at up over $4000 from our sponsors which include;

Burton, Ride, DC, Smith, Electric, DC, Union, ThirtyTwo, Dakine, Protec, Escape Movement, Rossignol

Burton Snowboards will also be on hand giving riders an opportunity to demo their newest gear.
