Booster Juice, a well-known smoothie franchise appears to be getting ready to open in the Century Centre Plaza at 180 Shirreff Avenue in North Bay.
Construction continues at the new location next to the Subway in the plaza on the north end of the city.
BayToday reached out to Booster Juice headquarters, but we were unable to get a firm date on the opening of the store from company officials.
Booster Juice has more than 45 locations across Ontario including one nearby in the Sudbury Mall.
The Canadian based smoothie franchise has more than 300 locations across Canada, US, Mexico, the Netherlands, India, and Brazil.
North Bay used to be known as the Smoothie Capital of Canada as the local smoothie business Euphoria once had more than four locations in the city before the local company closed its doors in 2010.
