A small group of protesters stood on the corner of McIntyre and Wyld this morning as part of an anti-mandate protest in front of city hall.

The event was organized by the North Bay Convoy Support Group in North Bay.

"This is a family-friendly protest to drop all mandates, enough is enough. drop all mandates," the organizers stated on social media about the event.

Organizers suggested protesters bring megaphones signage, flags, and their car horns.

Honking could be heard prominently by a handful of vehicles passing by city hall in support around 9 a.m.

The Honk City Hall event is one of a number of anti-mandate events planned for this week which started Tuesday with the slow roll through North Bay to Pinewood Park Drive.

They are also looking to hold another anti-mandate protest in front of the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit at 9 a.m. on Thursday and then a maskless shopping event is planned for Saturday at around 10:45 a.m. at Northgate Shopping Centre in North Bay.
