Sixth candidate emerges in Nipissing race!

He's Patrick Clement of Powassan who is running as an independent candidate. Nominations closed at 2 p.m.. today and Returning Officer with Elections Ontario, Jim Mallory confirms that Nipissing voters will have their choice of six candidates.

Nominations closed at 2 p.m.. today and Returning Officer with Elections Ontario, Jim Mallory confirms that Nipissing voters will have their choice of six candidates.
Beside Clement, there is Derek Elliott of the Libertarian Party, Vic Fedeli running for the PC's, Henri Giroux of the NDP, Nicole Peltier representing the Green Party, and Catherine Whiting of the Liberal Party.
An all-candidates debate is set for the Clarion next Wednesday.
The election is in 21 days on June 12th.
