It has also continued a severe thunderstorm watch continued for the New Liskeard - Temagami area.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to move eastward across the regions this afternoon. One or two of these storms may contain isolated wind gusts to 90 km/h and 2 cm hail.

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management also recommends that people take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
