Severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon.

This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds or heavy rainfall..Monitor weather conditions and listen for updated bulletins.

Scattered thunderstorms are affecting Northeastern Ontario this afternoon as a cold front crosses the area. A few may become severe with damaging wind gusts to 90 km/h and large hail. The threat should diminish this evening with the passage of the front.
