It may be time to start thinking of how to protect your outdoor plants.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for:

  • North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa
  • West Nipissing - French River
  • South River - Burk's Falls
  • Huntsville - Baysville
  • Greater Sudbury and vicinity
  • Deep River - Whitney - Eastern Algonquin Park

Temperatures may fall to near or below zero tonight.

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas. Frost is a covering of ice crystals on a surface, produced by the depositing water vapour to a surface cooler than 0° C

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
