Chair of the Santa Parade Committee Jeff Serran is praising the participants and spectators of Sunday's parade as "unbelievable."

"I think people just missed having this type of event," he told BayToday.

The committee had a modified parade last year with 25 floats and spare crowds but this year saw 48 floats and big crowds all along the route. That's the largest in his memory says Serran.

"The feedback we've received has been very positive.,We were really happy with the participation."
