Salvation Army Dinner

For decades the Salvation Army has been helping people in our community.

The Red Kettle Campaign during the Christmas holiday season is a standard program that sees funds raised to help provide those in need with a meal and little something special for the holiday. And there are many other programs run by the Salvation Army.

Every Sunday they serve a full course meal to the public and this Sunday is no exception. Although it is not titled a Thanksgiving Dinner there is a feel of the celebration to today’s meal as the traditional pumpkin pie will be served.

The evening is as always, open to the public especially the elderly and those individuals who are alone and would like company while marking the day.

The evening will feature gospel singing and time for fellowship where people can come together and share a meal.

Dinner is held at the Salvation Army building 134 McIntyre St. E. and starts at 6 P.M.
