The North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has investigated 14 motor vehicle collisions (MVC) involving animals, mainly deer, in the last 7 days.
More than half of the collisions have been between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., but they are occurring at all times of the day.
Take extra time to get to your destination and slow down.
The OPP in the region is asking motorists to please be vigilant out on the highway.
