Rotary4Kids received $31,265.00 from a marathon radio fundraiser hosted by Kevin Oschefski, Country 90.5 FM morning show host.

The event called "Kev's Kids" was a 29-hour broadcast in support of the Rotary4Kids cause. The event wrapped up on Friday.

"Because of Kevin's enthusiasm for children with special needs, Rotary4kids and our community are better for it," Rotary Club of North Bay officials stated on social media.

"Thanks to everyone who donated."

Donations received from the event help local and area families of children with special needs to assist with buying rehabilitative devices, paying for incidental medical issues when other coverage is lacking, sponsoring kids for therapeutic camps, and working with professionals who identify individual needs for families with nowhere else to turn.

While the event gathered some big money, Rotary Club of North Bay officials still say they can use more financial help.

"Rotary’s support for special needs children is year-round, so our need to raise money is also year-round," they stated.
