With the warmer weather upon us, the Rotaract Club of North Bay-Nipissing is gearing up for its annual Day of Giving, taking place this year on Saturday, April 29th.

Rotaract Clubs throughout the district, including clubs in Sudbury, Barrie, and Muskoka, will also be hosting Day of Giving events on April 29th.

In the spirit of Earth Day, which falls on April 22nd, Rotaractors and teams of volunteers will be participating in a city-wide cleanup, picking up trash from parks and outdoor areas throughout North Bay. The event is an opportunity for Rotaract and others to give back to the community through small acts of volunteerism.

The Rotaract Club is also pleased to be participating in the North Bay-Mattawa Conversation Authority’s Adopt-a-Creek program. Part of this year’s Day of Giving activities will include the club officially adopting a portion of Chippewa Creek.

If you are interested in volunteering for Day of Giving on April 29th, or would like more information, please call 705-492-2660 or email [email protected].

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30.
