Police have made an arrest in connection with a Lakeshore Drive robbery last week.

On April 17, shortly after 11:30 p.m., a business in the 500 block area of Lakeshore Drive was robbed.

Police say that a man entered the business and demanded the employee open the cash register. He pushed the victim and made a threat, which resulted in the cash register being opened.

A small amount of cash and lottery tickets were stolen.

As police responded the robber fled on foot but was located by North Bay Police on April 22 and arrested.

Kyle LeBlond, 25, of North Bay has been arrested and charged with:

  • Robbery with violence; and
  • Uttering threats.

LeBlond remains in custody pending a bail hearing.

Police say the victim did not receive any physical injury as a result of the robbery.
