Riding receives health care grants

Two health care providers in Nipissing are receiving more than $36,000 in grants, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.



Nipissing Mental Health Housing and Support Services will receive up to $29,000 in one-time funding for 2012-13.



As well, the North Bay Recovery Home will receive up to $7,000 in one-time funds over the same period.



In both cases, the money is for replacement reserve costs associated with the Supportive Housing program.



“Both organizations deserve thanks for their ongoing dedication to the provision of vital health care services in Nipissing,” Fedeli said.
