Revving engines in the rain at 22 Wing Car Show (PHOTO GALLERY)

The pleasant weather experienced Saturday morning at 22 Wing North Bay did not carry over to the afternoon, but that did not dampen the spirits of auto enthusiasts participating in the 2nd Annual Car Show

The pleasant weather experienced Saturday morning at 22 Wing North Bay did not carry over to the afternoon, but that did not dampen the spirits of auto enthusiasts participating in the 2nd Annual Car Show. The event was open to classic cars, motorcycles, trucks, rat rods, modern cars, and more.

After the success of last year's event, the hosts from 22 Wing Auto Hobby Club were hopeful that sunny skies would be the order of the day. Despite the uneven weather, they still raised $700 for the group's charity of choice, Soldier On. The entry fee was $10 per vehicle, and a BBQ was held for the show entrants and interested observers. It is a non-profit event, with all proceeds going to Soldier On to help families and injured soldiers.

Organizers were dismayed that they could only provide a partial list of winners. The heavy rains did not dampen the enthusiasm at the car show, but they did soak the results sheet. If you are aware of any of the missed winners' names, please add them in the comments section below.
