Recovered property still unclaimed

Are you missing some pictures from Wawa? Does a video tape labelled 'Lisa & Mum Ireland 2003' mean anything to you?

They're still in possession of what they believe to be stolen property, which was found in a stolen vehicle during the May 24 long weekend.

The stolen vehicle was parked near the Lookout in Callander, and the property consists of two cameras—one of which is a 35 mm, with photos from Wawa on the film.

A video camera with a tape labelled “Lisa & Mum Ireland 2003” was also seized.

There is also fishing equipment, jewellery and plastic fuel containers.

It is believed that this property was taken from Pinehill Road, Highway 94 as well as Callander marinas. This property may be claimed by calling 497-5555. The investigating officer is Cst. Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service.
