North Bay Police are continuing to receive numerous complaints of thefts from unlocked vehicles.

A police news release says the thefts are occurring nightly and are not isolated to any specific part of the city.

"The North Bay Police Service reminds motorists to always remove valuables from plain sight when leaving vehicles unattended, to never leave identification behind, and to always lock your doors."

Meanwhile, sometime between August 11th and 15th, thieves broke into a house in the 500 Block of McIntyre Street East and ransacked a bedroom and stole some jewelry.
