Rainfall warning in place

Environment Canada: has issued a rainfall warning for North Bay and West Nipissing for around 2 p.m. today. 

According to the EC Alert, heavy precipitation will continue into Monday with estimated total rainfall amounts of 50 to 75 mm possible.

"Intermittent showers will continue today in parts of Central and Northeastern Ontario. However, a few rounds of heavier precipitation are expected to move in late this afternoon and continue into Monday," the Alert stated. 

"Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads."

Environment Canada asks residents to please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
