Milestone Strategy will conduct a study for Nipissing Entertainment Inc. that will look at how simmilar facilities have socially affected communities they're and then assess the possible impact on North Bay.

Social agencies and other groups will be consulted with during the study, to be completed this fall.

In addition to input from the social service providers in North Bay and consultation with similar facilities in other Ontario communities, we welcome the thoughts and opinions of all residents and businesses of North Bay regarding their perceptions of the potential impact that a race track and possibly slot machines would have on North Bay," said Milestone president Ed Newhook.

Written submissions can be sent to Newhook at Milestone Strategy Management Consultants, 5 Hardwood Gate, Toronto, Ont., M9W 4G2.

The deadline for submission is Sept. 17.
