A public meeting with special advisors from the Ministry of Education scheduled for tonight has been postponed by the winter conditions.
It was supposed to start tonight at 7 p.m.

"Please note that due to the inclement weather the Ministry Advisor Public Meeting schedule for tonight in North Bay has been postponed. We will be rescheduling at a future date and will provide notice when a new date has been determined," says the Board's website.
Earlier this year, the Board requested special support from the Minister of Education which assigned two Special Advisors to work with the Near North District School Board.
Their mandate is to provide the Minister of Education with advice and recommendations about how the Near North District School Board can improve its governance, human resources practices and financial accountability role to support and improve public confidence in the board and in Ontario's publicly funded education system, according to the Board's website.
There are five questions in the survey including " Board Transparency: The NNDSB and its schools operate in an open, transparent and accountable manner."
