Ontario's support for a film shoot in North Bay has strengthened the northern film industry, boosted the economy and created about 100 jobs.

With support from the province's Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), #REF! Production Ltd has shot the feature film Cubicle Warriors in North Bay. The project created jobs for local residents, who worked as extras, crew and production staff.

Investing in Northern Ontario's film industry is part of the McGuinty government's Growth Plan for Northern Ontario. A strong northern economy creates local jobs and protects the services that mean the most to families - health care and education.
