Premier visiting North Bay Friday

The Premier to make an announcement at the ONR Friday morning.

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne will be making a stop in North Bay tomorrow as part of her Northern Ontario tour.  

The Premier is expected to be making an announcement at the Polar Bear Express train along with Northern Development and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle and Ontario Northland CEO Corina Moore.  

That event, which is open to the media takes place at the Refurbishment and Repair Centre on McIntyre Street at 9 a.m. to begin the tour. 

Wynne's next stop will be at the Mayor's office where she will be meeting with North Bay Mayor Al McDonald in a closed meeting to the media at 9:40 a.m. 

She will continue to Nipissing First Nation where she will meet with the Nipissing First Nation's officials at the Union of Ontario Indian's Head Office at 10:30 a.m.

The Premier will then travel North to New Liskeard at Timiskaming District Secondary School to meet with supporters of the One Foot Forward Organization.    

The Premier has been traveling across Northern Ontario this past week which included stops in Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie and today in Moose Factory.
