With all the buzz about skyrocketing hydro costs, an alert reader in Huntsville snapped this photo.
Erin Reid says the truck, with a pair of awake employees inside, was parked there when she left her house at 9 a.m. but they were sleeping when she returned home four hours later.
She says the truck hadn't moved.
"They were parked there this morning at 9 when I left my house, I was behind them and honked my horn. They had no 4-ways on or pylons out. I left for the day and when I got home they were still parked there and had their flashing lights on. I shook my head and checked my mail. I had an $800 hydro bill so I drove back and took pics. I wish I had gotten out of my car to take the picture because they were both sound asleep."
Reid added, "I was chatting with a gentleman who worked for hydro one for 16 years and he said this happens all the time."
