An organization that operates Poutine Festivals across Ontario is planning to make a stop in North Bay this summer.

The North Bay Poutine Feast is scheduled to visit North Bay from June 20th to 23rd at Lee Park.

“We’ll have the tunes bumpin’, games for the whole family, tasty treats and many amazing poutines to try,” stated organizers on a new North Bay Poutine Feast Facebook page.

Organizers have five confirmed poutine vendors on the page including The Upper Deck, BBQ Babes, Fat Les’s Chipstand, Smokin’ R & R’s, and Herbert’s Fries.

There will be no admission to attend and organizers are asking the public to bring their own reusable forks.

Poutine Feast, which has visited other Northern communities such as Sault Ste. Marie and Timmins in the past is described as “a travelling festival that specializes in bringing a twist to the iconic Canadian Dish Poutine.”

Poutine Feast is comprised of chip truck owners from all across Ontario.

“When we come to your town we also look for local trucks that may want to join us to share their wonderful dishes,” Poutine Feast organizers stated on their website.

According to the website, the Poutine Feast will be making stops in other locations such as Windsor, Peterborough and Vaughan as well this summer.  For more details go HERE
