  • Liberal: Stephen Glass
  • Progressive Conservative: Vic Fedeli
  • New Democratic Party: Henri Giroux
  • Green Party: Kris Rivard
  • Northern Ontario Party: Trevor Holliday
  • Libertarian Party: Bond Keevil

It's shaping up to be a two-man race as Fedeli and Giroux have waged vigorous campaigns and polls showing them almost neck and neck.

Polls are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

BayToday will have up to the minute results of all ridings, and will also staff four of the election night party headquarters with reaction from local candidates.

 Elections Ontario says preliminary figures show 6,386 people in Nipissing cast advance ballots.

Vic Fedeli PC 13,085 (42%)

Catherine Whiting Lib 8,382 (27 %)

Henri Giroux NDP 8,057 (26%)

Nicole Peltier Green 1,188 (4%)

Derek Elliott Libertarian 377 (1%)

Patrick Clement Ind 201 (0,6%)

What identification you need to bring will depend on whether you are on the Voters List.

If your name IS on the Voters List:

  • You must show one piece of identification that has your name on it. Your name as shown on the piece of identification must match your name on the Voters List.

If your name is NOT on the Voters List:

  • You must show one piece of identification that has your name and current residential address.

You can use an original identification document, a photocopy of an identification document, or an electronic copy displayed on a mobile device. This includes utility bills received electronically.
