Police seize $30,000 in drugs. Arrest four

OPP arrested four locals and seized $30,000 in drugs in a bust last week.

On May 27 officers from the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, Ontario Crime Enforcement Bureau, North Bay OPP and North Bay Police Service executed a search warrant on a Gorman Street home.  

Officers seized over $30,000 (street value) in suspected purple heroin, fentanyl, and pills and more than $11,000 in cash.

As a result of the warrant, four people from North Bay were arrested and charged.  

Tiffany Gwen Caldwell, 32, and Brandt Moore, 35, are charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possess schedule I substance - methamphetamine
  • Two counts of possess schedule I substance - opioid
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Corey Pratt, 30, is charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking 
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon

Shai-Lynn Rooney, 22, is charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5.000

All were released on an Undertaking and are scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on July 28.
