It's not an easy vehicle to steal but North Bay Police say they responded to a complaint about a stolen boom truck taken from a business on Seymour Street in North Bay. Police say they were notified of the theft shortly after 2 p.m. on Sunday.

A boom truck is described as a construction vehicle with a crane and a flatbed.

The investigation determined the truck, valued at $400,000, was stolen shortly before 2 a.m. that morning.

The City Police and the OPP worked together and found the large vehicle on Centennial Crescent in Corbeil on Sunday afternoon.

However, more $5000 worth of construction supplies stored on the flatbed of the truck, was identified as missing when the truck was recovered.

Police are still seeking suspects in this ongoing investigation.
