Update: Found. Police looking for missing woman in Redbridge area

‘The North Bay Police Service received reports of a female who appeared in a state of distress at multiple locations in Redbridge’

The North Bay Police Service is asking the public for assistance locating an injured woman from the Redbridge area. 

"The North Bay Police Service received reports of a female who appeared in a state of distress at multiple locations in Redbridge, Ontario," the North Bay Police stated in a Friday night release. 

She was described as:

  • White skin
  • Blonde hair worn in a bun
  • In her 20s
  • Wearing a blue, long-sleeved shirt and dark, tattered track pants
  • Bleeding from an injury on her forehead

The individual was previously reported to be seen in the area of the Redbridge Landfill on Highway 63, and the Redbridge General Store at the intersection of Highway 63 and Songis Road in Redbridge, between 3:40 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on June 2, 2023.

The North Bay Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police are conducting searches in the area 

Anyone who may have seen an individual matching this description or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the North Bay Police at 705-497-5555 and press 9 to speak with an officer.

The North Bay Police Service does not currently have a photo to release of the individual.

As of around 8 p.m. on Friday, the North Bay Police Service has concluded its involvement in this investigation. Carriage for the investigation has been transferred to the Ontario Provincial Police.
