OPP are continuing their search this morning for a missing man who was carried away by the current while swimming in the Ottawa River in Mattawa on Saturday afternoon.
The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit and the OPP Aviation Services Helicopter joined the search along with OPP's Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), and the North Bay Detachment Marine Unit.

Witnesses told police the man was carried downstream by the current and then disappeared from sight not far from the train bridge.
Police say further details will be released as soon as they become available.
