The OPP have charged a suspect in relation to vehicle thefts in Redbridge back in October.
The North Bay OPP responded to a call in Redbridge on October 12th to investigate a complaint of thefts from motor vehicles.
The North Bay OPP Crime Unit, along with the North East Region Forensic Identification Services, continued the investigation and have charged Bernard Soucie, age 44, from North Bay, with:
- Attempt Theft x 7 contrary to section 463 of the Criminal Code (CC) and
- Theft Under $5000 from a Motor Vehicle x 7 contrary to section 334(b) of the CC
The accused is currently in custody will attend video bail court on December 18, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay.
