Police can't rule out foul play in missing person case

At this time, police have not been able to rule out foul play.

On March 27, Temiskaming OPP officers received a call about a missing person.  

The OPP is currently searching for 21-year-old Nicholas Rivard who was last seen on March 24 in Cobalt.

He is described as:

  • approximately six feet tall,
  • 170 pounds. 
  • brown eyes,
  • medium length, wavy black hair. 

Police and family are concerned for his well-being and are requesting the public's assistance to help find him.

At this time, police have not been able to rule out foul play.

The OPP investigation is continuing under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant Kurtis Fredericks of the Criminal Investigation Branch, along with members of the Temiskaming Shores Detachment, and North East Regional Headquarters.
