The Callander Legion Band spent much of Thursday helping to pipe in the new year.

The 10-person pipe and drums corps had at least three engagements Jan. 1, including levies at the Officers Mess at the military base and at the Troy Armoury, as well as a stop at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 599 West, in Ferris.

Most of the photographs posted here were taken at the legion
hall.

The band is part of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 445, in Callander.
