Pinewood murder suspect arrested. Second man sought

A Canada-Wide Warrant has been issued for a second man, considered armed and dangerous

City police have arrested a North Bay man in connection with that murder in the Pinewood area shortly before 9 p.m. on Wed. December 5.

He is 25-year-old Taylor Briscoe.

Briscoe has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the shooting.  Additional charges are anticipated as the investigation progresses.

The North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit arrested Briscoe without incident as he was leaving a residence in the city centre, says a news release.

Briscoe is being held in custody for a bail hearing.

A Canada-Wide Warrant for the arrest of 26-year-old Ryan Abraham has also been issued on a charge of second-degree murder. Additional charges are anticipated as the investigation progresses. 

The North Bay Police Service is warning the public that Ryan Abraham has not yet been arrested and the firearm still hasn't been recovered.  Abraham should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Abraham currently has no known address but is believed to have ties in the southern Ontario and London areas.

Police said Friday the murder victim is Abraham Kamerman, 45, of North Bay.

Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation or the whereabouts of Ryan Abraham is asked to contact police or their local Crime Stopper’s.  The information supplied is anonymous and you may be eligible for a reward if your information results in an arrest.
