Update Friday 8 a.m.

Yesterday just before noon, a pedestrian tried to run across Lakeshore Drive but was struck by a northbound truck. It, in turn, was rear-ended by an SUV travelling behind it.

The accident occurred around 95 Lakeshore, just north of the MacDonald Ave. intersection. There is no crosswalk or traffic light at that point.

The pedestrian received minor injuries and was charged with "Pedestrian fail to use a crosswalk." 

The truck driver that struck the pedestrian was charged with "Drive Motor Vehicle with no licence."

A male pedestrian is in hospital with undisclosed injuries following an accident at 95 Lakeshore Drive just before noon Thursday. 

The pedestrian was struck by a black pickup truck travelling north on the inside lane of Lakeshore. The truck was subsequently rear-ended by an SUV.
