A West Nipissing man had his parole revoked after a search warrant was executed at a residence in that community turned up evidence of child sexual abuse material, Greater Sudbury Police said today.

On April 8, the OPP’s Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) and Computer Forensics Units in collaboration with Greater Sudbury Police executed a search warrant at a residence in West Nipissing.

Police said a 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with Access Child Pornography, Possess Child Pornography and Distribute Child Pornography.

He was also charged with failing to comply with a prohibition order, as he was a federal parolee at the time of his arrest last week.

He appeared in bail court the same day as his arrest to answer to the charges.
