Seth Compton expressed disappointment after the home of OUTLoud North Bay — and what is recognized as a safe space for youth — was broken into by what the security camera footage indicates are two individuals.

"Well, it didn't take any time at all for those that feel the need to violate other people's places, spaces and things," wrote Compton, OUTLoud's founder and operator on social media, adding the North Bay Police Service has been contacted.

Compton shares OUTLoud North Bay, located in the former Summit Room at the Voyager Inn, was broken into Tuesday at 4 a.m. and "our visitors have stolen hundreds of dollars worth of our things."

David Woolley, Corporate Communications Officer for NBPS tells BayToday, "We are in the preliminary stages of the investigation and are gathering evidence and witness statements. We will be able to provide more information as the investigation progresses."

"I know these images are not the best but if you know this person(s) please contact me. It appears to be two different people. Possibly," posted Compton. "The guy carrying around the PlayStation appears to be wearing camouflage pants and a hoodie, while the other guy is wearing a tank top, jeans, and a skateboarding helmet."

"They were here for well over two hours rummaging through our things. Fridges, clothing, gaming consoles, musical instruments, skateboards, helmets. They actually brought up a dolly and left it here. So their intentions were a lot more than what they left with," Compton observed.

OUTLoud North Bay is billed as an organization driven by LGBTQA+ individuals willing to support the mental health and well-being of our youth within North Bay and surrounding communities.

Compton added he will be calling local pawn shops with the incident report.
