Yesterday, the West Nipissing Police Service responded to two separate calls to assist EMS at two different residences in Sturgeon Falls.
The officers responded to the calls and learned that men had overdosed on drugs,
Both men survived the medical emergency.
Further investigation leads police to believe that the overdoses are linked to the consumption of PurpleH, a combination of heroin and fentanyl mixture.
Police warn those that are using street drugs to use extreme caution as these drugs are extremely potent and potentially fatal.
