Over 25 imitation firearms were seized in a search warrant executed by Moosonee OPP last week.
A complaint of threatening led to the cache of imitation firearms.
On the evening of March 12, Moosonee OPP conducted a search warrant at a residence in Moosonee.
The investigation into the occurrence resulted in the seizure of the firearms.
As a result of the investigation, Nathaniel Sparling, 26, of Moosonee, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Criminal harassment- threatening conduct
- Uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm
- Fail to comply with a probation order
Sparling was arrested and held for bail to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Timmins.
