OPP seeking help to solve car fire

POLICE SEEK ASSISTANCE IN VEHICLE ARSON
North Bay OPP were dispatched to a car fire on Monday Aug. 2, 2004, at the end of MacPherson Drive. Police suspect arson. Police are asking for assistance from the public regarding this incident.

A gray 1990 Toyota pick-up was parked in the parking area located at the end of MacPherson drive. Shortly after 4:00 a.m. (August 2nd, 2004), someone deliberately set fire to this vehicle. East Ferris Volunteer Fire Department responded and no one was injured during the incident. The owner of the pick-up was camping on Trout Lake at the time. Two other vehicles, parked near by, were broken into and ransacked.
