OPP looking for gas thief

The investigation revealed, the suspect pumped $124.57 in gas and left without any attempt to pay

The Nipissing West (Warren) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public's assistance with a theft investigation.

On December 6 at approximately 1:10 p.m., officers received a report of a theft of gas from the St. Charles Food Market & Gas Station on Main Street in St. Charles, Ontario. 

The investigation revealed, the suspect pumped $124.57 in gas and left without any attempt to pay.

OPP say the female suspect is described as having long dark hair, wearing a green or beige coat and grey knee-high boots. The vehicle is described as an older model, Ford Econoline full-size cargo van, dark in colour.

The OPP is requesting assistance in identifying the person of interest and/or the vehicle in the attached photos, which were captured by the store's surveillance cameras.

This investigation is continuing.  Anyone with information regarding this theft, is urged to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
