OPP in Elliot Lake have made an arrest after a man walked through a condominium complex yesterday firing a pistol pellet gun at buildings.

It was 12:30 p.m. when members from the East Algoma OPP responded to a weapons call in Elliot Lake.

Witnesses reported a person with a gun shooting at buildings. Luckily there were no injuries.

Police arrived and arrested the shooter.     

[Charged withdrawn], 32, of Elliot Lake is charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

[Charged withdrawn] is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on June 2.
