ONR switches messed with again

Between 4:00 pm 27th Sept and 9:00 am 28th 4 ADLAKE locks were removed from ONR switches located in the west end of the ONR rail yards.

The switches are used to direct trains within the yard.

The danger of this action lies in the fact that if the switch is moved, even an inch, a derailment could occur.

There was no damage or evidence to the switches to indicate that the locks were pried or cut.

Cst Christian Elia is investigating.
