North Bay OPP say one person is dead and two others injured after a head-on collision on Highway 17 West Sunday afternoon.
The two-vehicle accident took place at 12:48 p.m., at Nipissing First Nation, west of Trap and Skeet Road.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle suffered serious non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the westbound vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The passenger of the westbound vehicle was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team including an OPP traffic collision reconstruction officer is assisting with the investigation. The highway opened around 6:30 p.m.
