Members of 104 “Brilliant” Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps are proud of what they do and they want to show it off.

They will be having an open house on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fort Chippewa Barracks (540 Chippewa St.) across the street from Chippewa High school.

The day is aimed at youth 12 to 18 years old who are interested in learning more about the cadet program and learning about the numerous activities undertaken by the corps.

The corps meets every Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. starting in early September and ending in late June. The program is free to join and is open to boys and girls.

The aim of the cadet program is to develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership, promote physical fitness, and stimulate the interest of youth in the sea, land and air activities of the Canadian Forces.
