OPP North Bay investigated a fraud incident that took place in Powassan back in July of 2016.
The OPP said a victim complained that after finding a roofing company on Kiijii, money was paid upfront for roofing services.
According to the OPP, the roofer then moved out of the area before any roofing was done.
Jamie Peter Sarrazin, 34 of North Bay, was arrested by the North Bay OPP on outstanding warrants.
November 4, Sarrazin was charged with fraud Over $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
He was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to attend court in North Bay on December 3.
The North Bay OPP warns the public to do research before giving any cash out to a person or business that you aren't familiar with.
