A North Bay man faces assault charges after OPP were called to the scene of an argument in Temagami this afternoon.
Police say it was just around 1:30 today when they were called to a fight taking place on Rosevelt Road.
A 21-year-old resident of Chelmsford, suffered serious injuries and was immediately rushed by Nipissing Emergency Medical Services to the hospital and then airlifted by Ornge for medical care.
Charged with aggravated assault is Nicholas Hebert, 21, of North Bay
Herbert is being held in jail and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
Temiskaming OPP members with the assistance of the OPP Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Services Unit are continuing this investigation.
